HOW TO DEVELOP TOURISM SECTOR IN CENTRAL LOMBOK

I.             INTRODUCTION.
A.    Tourism Sectors In Central Lombok
            The developments of tourism sectors in Lombok Island especially in Central Lombok also have implication with Economics development in West Nusa Temggara Province. The Tourism Industry includes Transportations, recreations, cook service/ food, Tour and Travel and as we know, that Industry was the large industry in the world.
Tourisms sector have good position in Lombok Island especially in Central Lombok because there are many tourism object with beautiful panorama. As we know in every country develop their Tourism sector based on 3S (Sun, Sea and Sand) also Indonesia. In Central Lombok there are beautiful Beach With white sand and nice sea also the beautiful sunset and sunshine so that central Lombok very potential to develop the tourism sector.
 The position of tourism in central Lombok will be strong if we make use of all potential thing as natural resources like the beautiful panorama as such beach (sand), sun, and sea. If all of the potential above we manage as good as to develop the tourism sector we believe that the tourism industry in central Lombok will be better and many tourist will coming and stay.  Beside that, they will feel safe and comfortable stay here and when they back to their country, they will promote to their family or their friends about the conditions of tourism industry in central Lombok.
Tourism world is already very familiar in around the world. In Lombok Island especially in Central Lombok tourism industry started from 1986, at that time, there are simple hotels, in 1990 there are average hotel and in 1996, there is good hotel with international standard. The most famous one of tourism object in Central Lombok is Kuta Beach beside that also Mawun beach, Tanjung A’an beach and many others. Besides the beautiful beach in central Lombok also water fall in Benang Stokel, nice swimming pool in Aiq Bukaq Kopang but the problem now is how to manage and develop it all.
B.     How To Develop Tourism Sector In Central Lombok
The existence of tourism industry in Lombok Island especially in central Lombok has already help many societies to find job or decrease unemployed. Eventhough, there are controversy about it, and that is ones of obstacle to develop it. However there are many manners to develop it as such we should identify of what are the weakness and strength by using S.W.O.T (strength, weakness, opportunity, and time) analyze and by using this analyze we know that how to develop it.
II.          THE PROBLEM AND OBSTACLE WITHIN DEVELOP TOURISM SECTOR IN CENTRAL.
Within develop tourism industry we also ca not be rid of capital. Capital is ones require and important things within develop it. However, the capital is not anything There are other important things to support it, like human ability or human resource, society attitude, politics, and cultural besides the experiences. Eventhough the capital use as to measure reached or not a level of income appropriate with our planning. The economics will develop continuous if it has assurance and stability (J.Tinbergen). Where for if we want to develop tourism industry, it needs assurance and stability too. Moreover, if we want to develop the tourism sector it also depends on situation and condition as politics conditions.
 The politics condition sometimes has influence with tourism industry it mean the development of tourism industry sometimes depend on that conditions. If the politics condition is, stable also the condition of tourism sector stable. Accordingly, Alfred Marshall (1842 – 1924) in his book’s ‘Industry & Trade’ he said, “The evolution of economics is gradual” the development sometimes endured or reverse with politics debacle but their progress is never coincidentally. His argument above has showed the development of economics process is a continuous and phases process the development of tourism sector in central Lombok. Everything is process it mean need process, but the matter is how to mange that process and to solve the obstacle. Therefore, that if we able to manage it all the tourism industry in central Lombok will develop fastest and it will be better than other. However to get it all needs hard work and sacrifice.
Generally we indicated that the weakness to develop tourism sector in Indonesia especially in central Lombok as such the descend of the Indonesian tourism image (included) in international world. The integrated of tourism development program in local and central area yet. The descent of proclivity investors to invest in tourism sector although as whole the highest is invest in west Nusa Tenggara especially In central Lombok. Low of human resource. The government not competence or the government their ability limited to develop it.
III.       THE POTENTIALS & PRODUCT OF TOURISM SECTOR IN CENTRAL LOMBOK
In Central Lombok there are many tourism object as such Kuta beach this beach called Mandalike princess beach, beside that there is water fall and many other. That is one of the strength in tourism industry in Central Lombok. Besides that, there are potential things to develop tourism industry such as the cultural, biodiversity flora and fauna. Archipelago and many other.
Based on the potential above we know how to manage it all and we know how to solve the obstacle by using the SWOT analyzes. So that we can develop it because in Central Lombok one of the most potential things to develop it is, the beautiful natural resource and it support by cultural. We use this product to develop it and we can mange this product automatically we know how to arrange it. Within develop the tourism such as tour guide in their operational the travel agent should have at least a limited product. In this case, Kotler and fox (1985: 221) has given limited about this tourism product, they said, “ a product is anything that can be offered to a market for attention, acquisition, use or consumption that might satisfy a needs and want. It includes physical object, program, services, person, place, organizations and idea. Other names for a product would be offer, value package or benefit bundle.
If we talk about the relationship between product concept with tourism, Jefries (1971 : 4 ) said “ most destinations offer scenery, folklore, monuments, sport, etc and these may be regarded  as new materials to be developed in quite different ways in answer to the need in quite different markets. In other worlds, they could be made up into distinct tourism product and are, therefore, not in themselves the product. Therefore, that if we know it all as the weakness or the potentials to develop it, and the potentials can we manage all as a product or other.     



IV.             CULTURES AS ONE POTENTIAL THING WITHIN TOURISM DEVELOPMENT & THE PRINCIPLE THAT WE USE TO DEVELOP TOURISM SECTOR IN CENTRAL LOMBOK.
Tourism World identically with 3S (Sun, Sea, and San) because most of country around the world develop their tourism industry by manage their natural resources by using 3S principle.
A natural resource has given a lot of befit especially in tourism sector; certainly, they not damage the environments. Within develop the tourism Industry culture as one of important element to support it. If orderly the culture as good as, so that the tourist interest to came visit. Other factor influence the people to having voyage or traveling to tourism object are  Disposable Income, Leisure Time, Technology, Size Of Family, security, Accessibility, Demand for Tourist Services, Characteristics  Demand of Travel Agent and the last one is Travel, Inflation, and value of money change.
The factor above is a potential to travel agent also to people who manage the tourism object. Most of tourist interested to see the beautiful panorama such as beach, sun and beautiful beach with safe and peacefully conditions. The beautiful nature charming will be good fascination if it supported by culture. However, that thing reached when local government have good relationship with tourism organizer in this case is the government of central Lombok especially tourism department this regency.
The culture here with general meaning it means not only artistry or in palace life, also includes custom and traditions in our life. Beside that, the culture also oldest buildings and traditional clothes such as traditional hand weaving in Sukarare Village, beside the traditional hand weaving also gallery, pottery in Penujak and Rembitan Village. There are oldest buildings in central Lombok as such oldest mosque, grave, in the palace, historical places etc. In central Lombok there is also a village namely Sade Village that village is famous with traditional, at that village most of house are traditional house.
Base on the potentials above, there are the principle can use to developing tourism sector in central Lombok are:
1.      Traveler & friendly:
a.       The beautiful and nature are. We should be providing the beautiful panorama with nature area also the balmy environments and traditional. The tourism activity also provide the pleasure experience to the tourist who respect and care about nature and local culture.
b.      Safe, Clean and balmy. The location and environments always clean, safe, besides all of Tourism facilities as tour, food and other in good condition, and good quality also pleasing.
c.       Exploiting nature and culture potentials, where the tourist have chance to join and enjoy the local culture.    
2.            Nature friendly, the tourism effort has designing and manage to decrease the negative effect to environments, and to improve environment conservation with considering:
a.       The planning should consider the policy, management, landscape and material of the buildings.
b.      Conservation effort.
3.            community friendly, the tourism effort by give contribution to increase the  prosperity of local citizen and improve the local culture, such as :
a.       Good relationship with organizer
b.      The social relationship with societies
c.       Participation and improve the societies economics
Within using the principle above it will have benefit such as :
a.       Decrease the consumption resources also decrease operational cost.
b.      Customer loyalty and increase image in society
c.       Manage good relationship between with society
d.      Business income with long life
e.       Create the new business.
The tourism potential in central Lombok with natural resource, cultures with Nusantara glamour’s progressively become market visited with tourist world. However to improve the tourism visited we ca not deliver to this conditions. We should released that highest amount of tourist will chose to visit ASIA include Indonesia also central Lombok.
Hence, we should do efforts with intensively to increase the quality include culture and tourism in central Lombok as holistic manner and mutualism with principle:
a.       Development of tourism in central Lombok considering to Bhineka Tunggal Ika as potentials and strength.
b.      Indonesian Glamour’s which pride priority to citizen with develops the area as an effort.
c.       Improve the travel form of nusantara tourism.
d.      Entangling the society as stakeholder to develop structure and system of tourism in central Lombok.
e.       Within develop the tourism product not only focus on administration but also should consider to destination product to.
f.       We should develop the cooperation among area with proactive so we have profit each other.
g.      The cure program to develop and stabilization of tourism image in central Lombok as a destination tourism world which safe balmy and easy to visit.
There are should be prepare within truly and trusty (T & T ) are the information as clear as about destination area, it can be in leaflet, booklet or through the Internet. Besides that transportation such Air transportation through travel agent and travel where the start leaving which security continue until the destination. Other important things are assurance about the management standard the ability to serve the tourist with good facilities and guarantying their satisfy with our serve, also important is the public facilities for information and tourism and culture communication.
Other important  thing within planning to develop culture and tourism sector such as we should have potentials, it consist of society culture and nature that need to appreciation, policy, panning program and support the activities in sectoral in this case is culture and tourism. Reputation we must create it and it is legality in the area role No.9 1989 about tourism area and program training program to stable the tourism area and tourism object. Planning, strategy, they consist of tourism object as such village, mountain, sea, sand and culture. To arrange the master plan with comprehensive, confirmative and holistic, the tourism organizer should have construction from government with continually. And the last one is tourism effort, consist of develop tourism, infestation of tourism effort.
Within develop the tourism sector in central Lombok should have base framework. The frameworks that as reference with apply the seven glamour such as safe, it means the condition must be safe with the guaranty so that the tourist will balmy to stay. The second is discipline the condition must be regularity. The third is clean the environment must be clean. The forth cold it means the environment must be comfortable. The fifth beautiful, it mean the environment must be harmony so that the tourist forbear to stay. The sixth friendly, it is include the culture have good attitude. And the last one is memory, an impress that the heart so that everyone who has visited that tourism objects will have good memory.
 
V.          CONCLUSIONS.
Central Lombok has good potentials especially in Tourism world, because there are tourism object such as Kuta Beach with beautiful beach, waterfall located in Benang Stokel. Besides the beach also have beautiful panorama nice sunset or sunshine in kuta beach also in Mawun beach and Tanjung A’an Beach.
The problem within develop tourism sector in central Lombok such as the capital, low of human resources, descend of the Indonesian tourism image (included) in international world. The integrated of tourism development program in local and central area yet. The descent of proclivity investors to invest in tourism sector although as whole the highest is invest in west Nusa Tenggara especially In central Lombok. In addition, the government not competence or the government their ability limited to develop it. Beside that develop of tourism sometimes depend on politics conditions.
Tourism industry is very precise in central Lombok , because in this area has good potentials, as such natural resources. Most important thing to know and to mange so that the tourist balmy to stay such as something to do it mean tourist have join within the tourism activity, the second is something to see, that is they see appropriate which beautiful and there is beautiful. And the last one is something to buy, the tourist buy something as they enjoy at this time also the brought it to their home or country.
Based on explanation above, in Central Lombok there are obstacle and potential within developing the tourism sector. The principle to that we use to develop tourism sector in central Lombok, the method is we should identify the weakness and the potential after that we use the SWOT analyze.
