Topic                     : Kind of Job & Activities In the future

Unit                       : 4 (Four)
Time Allocation    : 2 X 45 minutes (1 meeting)

  1. General Instructional Objectives

Students will achieve basic competencies of the four language skills (listening, reading, writing and speaking) and relevant structures in the context of Profession as what kind of profession, kind of job so that they can mention what that their ambition or what profession that they will be in the future and the relationship within the vocabulary of 1-300 word level with Grammar rules.

  1. Specific Instructional Objectives
      Students are able to:
  1. Identify key word in a simple text.
  2. Mention kinds of job.
  3. Telling the Activities in the future
  4. Express the skill past activities
  5. Express future event
  6. Deduce the meaning from context.
  7. Get specific Information from a text
  8. Improve Vocabulary

  1. Teaching-Learning Activities
Opening activities:
  • The teacher greets the students.
  • Call the roll the students( check the student attend list)
  • The teacher reviews the previous lesson by asking the students to report on their homework.
  • The teacher started to new topic.

Main activities: (see students book unit 4)
Task I:
  • The teacher makes statement that relate to kinds Profession.
  • The students answer it
  • What do you call someone who act in film
  • A film actor or actress( if the student can answer it so that the teacher continued and if they can not answer the teacher help clue and help them)
  • Mention the kind of job did you know( the teacher ask to the students)
Task II:
  • The students mention kinds of job and profession the knew
  • Teacher check the student answer
  • The student write down their answer on the white board one by one
  • The teacher give clue about the topic

Task III:
  • The teacher discuses the student answer one by one as clearly until the student understand what they write on the white board.
  • The student active in this discussion, every student tell their argument about their answers.
  • The teacher guides them.

Task IV:
  • The teacher asks the students one by one to read aloud the article or text about that related to the topic.
  • Other students listen their friend’s reading and correct the pronunciation
  • Check Dictionary to find out meaning new word (Vocabulary)
  • The teacher write down question on the white board
  • Students answer the question one by one with reading aloud

Task V:
  • The teacher explains the grammar rules
  • The teacher divided the students into groups, and the teacher giving the pictures. Every group get different picture. The teacher ask to every group to match the picture appropriated with the professions and do the exercise on grammar rules
  • After finishing every groups presentation that their result.
  • The students return to their position before. 

Evaluation:
ü  The teacher evaluating the students by writing text in the form of the reading comprehension question and translation into native language

Closing Activities:
ü  The teacher together with the students summarizes the main point of this meeting.

Assessment:
ü  Through the teaching-learning process and evaluation
